Lunch and Learn: Faith and AI Policy Spiritual Voices in AI Governance
Join us in-person for a rich conversation at the intersection of faith, ethics, and innovation.
As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes our world, it raises urgent questions not only about technology, but about humanity - our values, responsibilities, and purpose. This lunch-and-learn panel brings together a diverse group of faith leaders from various traditions to explore how spiritual and moral frameworks can help guide the development and use of AI.
Together, they will discuss the ethical challenges and opportunities posed by AI, the role of faith communities in shaping public understanding, and how theological wisdom can speak to emerging technologies.
Moderator:
Ray Kim, International Center for Religion & Diplomacy
Panelists:
Meredith Gardner, Mormon Women for Ethical Government
Rabbi Geoffrey Mitelman, Sinai & Synapses
Brad Littlejohn, American Compass
The event will open with short introductions, followed by a panel discussion led by a moderator, and closing with Q&A followed by a networking reception. A light lunch will be provided; please RSVP to ensure we can accommodate all attendees.
