​Got a community problem? Pitch it!

​Civic Tech's Season 9 starts soon. Anyone can share a community problem and find people who want to work on it, with you, over the next few months.

​You do not need a solution. You do not need a team, a plan, or a technical background. You need a problem you care about and three minutes. We do hope you can guide throughout the ~4 month season; but hey, let's cross that bridge when we get there!

​Not pitching? You're our other half! Come find a project to join.

​How Pitch Night works 

​🎤 3-minute pitch & 2 minutes of questions
💡 Focus on the problem, not the solution — who is affected, and what exists today
🤝 An unstructured session follows pitches where folks can chat with you about the problem (and possible solutions!)

​Who pitches? Beginners, students, public-sector folks, nonprofits, and curious neighbours. Everyone is welcome.

📍 The Builders Club (165 King Street W, Kitchener)
🍕 There shall be food.

​New to CivicTechWR? Doors open at 5:30 p.m! Come before 6 for a low-pressure social mingling.

​📸 We take photos at our events for our website and social channels. Tell any organizer if you would rather not appear in them and we will make sure you don't.
