​Meet others working on how AI will shape the lives of non- human entities and how we can steer it.

​AI is already being used in farming, fishing and animal monitoring, often with little transparency when things go wrong. Meanwhile, some people are seriously asking whether AI itself might be sentient.

​Whether you’ve read a lot about this, you’re thinking of starting a project or you’ve been working on this for years, join us for an evening to meet London-based peers.

​Highlights:

• ​Short intro: What is Sentient Futures and why are AI x non humans conversations important?

• ​Structured discussions: We will bring the topics to discuss. You can also bring your own to share.

​Schedule:

• ​19:00 - 19:30: Arrival and intros.

• ​19:30 - 20:00: Discussion in groups. Topics will be revealed on the night.

• ​20:00 - 20:15: Optional, pitch a project or share a hot take.

• ​20:15 - 21:30: Free conversation.

​Location: Central London, to be shared after RSVP closer to the date.

​Who should come: Anyone working in or curious about AI x (animals or digital minds). All backgrounds, experiences and seniorities are welcome.
