Knowledge Work Reimagined - Regenerative Software in a hybrid world
Human + AI collaboration rebuilt from a sovereignty and human-agency centered perspective. A talk and a demo of what Erik Rosenberg has been building to reframe knowledge and project work. Followed by an open conversation.
The event will start with a ~45 min talk. This includes a demo of a hybrid workflow for knowledge work. It is built on principles from the UNIX philosophy, Engelbart, Obsidian and Second Brain (Tiago Forte), and rooted in a desire for digital sovereignty and better human/technological interaction. The talk will be followed by an informal, open conversation. It is not a workshop, and not a pitch. It is a show-and-tell of a work and thinking in process.
🚪 Organizers will be at the venue at 16:00 (30 mins before start)
☕️ Show up early to mingle
🥪 The venue has a café, you can buy drinks and sandwiches on site.
Regenerative software development asks whether the things we build leave people, teams and communities stronger than they found them. Erik Rosenberg has spent his working life in learning, IT and organisational change. In recent years he has worked with AI in organisations, and he keeps seeing the same pattern: the tool is rarely the hard part. The hard part is the foundation underneath, such as shared understanding, trust and the ability to intervene when something goes wrong.
In the talk Erik shares what he has learned from that work. In the demo he shows how the workflow came about, and where it is still unfinished.
Bring your questions, your doubts and your own experience. Erik especially wants to hear where you think he is wrong.
