The Founder Room
The Founder Room is a curated monthly gathering for early-stage startup founders in Vancouver — a relaxed space to connect, share, and learn from people navigating the exact same journey.
Building a startup can be isolating. The Founder Room exists to change that. Each month, a small group of early-stage founders comes together over pizza and drinks for a short expert talk, structured peer discussion, and plenty of unstructured time to connect with people who genuinely get what you're going through.
Topics rotate monthly and are shaped by what founders actually want to hear about — things like fundraising, hiring your first team, IP and patents, government grants, founder mental health, and more. Every event is a chance to learn something practical, get honest input on your challenges, and build relationships that last beyond the evening.
What to expect:
A short expert talk + open Q&A on a topic relevant to your stage
Structured peer discussion — real problems, real input
Open networking and peer mentoring
Access to a private LinkedIn community to stay connected between events
Spots are limited to 10–12 founders and entry is application-based — so everyone in the room is genuinely there to build and support each other. No pitch decks, no noise, no wasted evenings.
Hosted at adMare and proudly fuelled by RBCx.
The Founder Room pilot runs June, July, and August 2026. Apply to join.
