Buffering Opening Reception at Story

​In an era of digital saturation, images have become increasingly difficult to hold onto. We move through an endless stream of photographs, advertisements, films, memes, interfaces, and visual references—images appearing, disappearing, repeating, and transforming faster than they can be fully absorbed. BUFFERING reflects on when such moments no longer remain fixed. Mason Gianni-Stone, Connor Stephenson, and Jamarr Cox address these tensions through the appearance of pop-cultural motifs, apocalyptic scenarios, and fragmentations of familiar spaces.
