ZAIS Open Meet Up

​This week additionally to the AI Safety Weekly, we’re hosting an open ZAIS meetup!

​AI safety used to be a niche topic. Now it makes headlines regularly, and it’s hard to keep track of what actually matters. This session is a relaxed chance to talk it through with others in Zurich who care about making AI go well for humanity.

​Zurich AI Safety (ZAIS) is a group of students, researchers, and professionals interested in and working on the long-term safety of artificial intelligence (AI). We are part of the international AI safety ecosystem (see aisafety.com). If this is your first time at a ZAIS event, we recommend spending a few minutes on aisafety.info to get a sense of what this community is about.

​👥 This week there’s no fixed program. It’s a chance to connect with others in Zurich who are interested in AI safety, chat with several ZAIS organizers, and ask any questions you have about the AI safety ecosystem or ZAIS’ upcoming activities. If something from a past AI Safety Weekly session stuck with you, this is also a great opportunity to pick up the discussion and dig deeper. Whether you’re completely new to the topic or already working on it, you’re welcome to join.
