​🤖🍓 Saturday Robotics CVPR 2026 Denver Meetup — Robotics & World Models Reading Club Special Session

​Date: June 6, 2026 (Saturday)

​Time: 5:30PM — 9:30PM (tentative)

​Location: Denver (CVPR venue area — TBD)

​Organized by: Saturday Robotics & World Models Reading Club (@saturdayrobotic, @junfanzhu98, @aurorafeng_01). We may co-organize with other friends (sponsors are welcome!)

​Since CVPR 2026 is taking place in Denver, our regular San Francisco Reading Club session on June 6 is paused and upgraded to CVPR Denver Special Meetup!

​We keep the same high-signal, deep-discussion style that defines every Saturday session — this time focused on Robotics, World Models, Physical Intelligence, Video Generation, and related frontier topics. All CVPR attendees (researchers & engineers) are welcome to exchange the latest advances, including but not limited to:

• ​JEPA / V-JEPA family of predictive world models

• ​Action-conditioned representation learning

• ​Multimodal (vision + tactile + proprioceptive) world models

• ​Cross-embodiment transfer, long-horizon planning, and hallucination control in embodied AI

• ​Live paper breakdowns & brainstorming of CVPR 2026 robotics & world-model papers

• ​And most importantly, your hot 🔥 takes!

​Schedule (tentative):

• ​17:30–18:00　Doors open + networking (catering, drinks + unlimited strawberries 🍓)

• ​18:00–19:00　Keynote/lightning talks (CVPR authors or domain experts)

• ​19:00–21:30　Open-format roundtable deep discussion (free-form, no slides needed)

​Registration: relevant researchers (PhD students, Postdocs, faculty, or senior engineers working in AI, robotics, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or embodied intelligence). When you RSVP, please briefly note your affiliation and research focus. We review applications to keep the room high-signal and productive.

​Previous Saturday Robotics Reading Club sessions have hosted researchers from Boston Dynamics, Google DeepMind, NVIDIA, Stanford, UC Berkeley, Rhoda AI, Meta FAIR, Generalist, Dyna Robotics, and top Bay Area robotics startups — many of whom co-authored the in-depth sharing that Yann LeCun liked. This Denver edition continues that tradition and will be the hardcore offline gathering for robotics & world-model folks during CVPR.
