About Event

Welcome back to Chicago's second Baithak! We're going to slightly lean into spooky season and explore some more eerie leaning poetry for this one together. Bring your favourite/creepiest jinn stories with you to share!

Agenda:

4:00 - 4:30 PM = Introduction to the topic

4.30 PM - 5:00 PM = Open Mic (You can share your poetry/stories or works of others that you admire) - Bonus points for any spookiness factor but totally not necessary.

5:00 PM - 6:20 PM = Introduction to poet/author of the day & reading/discussion of works

6:20 - 6:30 PM = Maghreb and Closing

Additional Notes:

Please bring snacks to share! Chai will be provided as always.

All Urdu levels are welcome - none of us are experts.

If you would like to help fund our Baithaks, please Venmo a suggested donation of $15 to @Saad-Jamal-2. Shukriya!
