Auctions
We will host auctions to decide teams on our Beyblade group for Uhtend Pass Subscribers.
This leads to healthy community interaction & balanced teams.
There will be three tiers:
Captains — they will make the team decisions; experienced participants will be made captains.
Pot 1 — this pot of 6 Bladers will contain the most well placed Bladers based on signups
Pot 2 — this pot of 6 Bladers will contain past participants, newbies, etc.
Note: your pot placement isn't the final evaluation of your skill but made to ensure fair teams with good balance.
The auction date will be announced a week before the tournament. The auction will be held on the WhatsApp group.
Budget
All team captains get 100 points to spend.
During auction you can bid on pot 1 and pot 2.
Auctions will start at 5 points and have increments of 5 (5, 10, 15, 20 and so on).
Auctions start with pot 1 and ends with pot 2.
A captain can spend all of their budget on a single player in either pot. In such a case they will receive the unchosen player.
Carryover Points
If your team is left with points they can be utilised during the tournament for certain advantages.
Note: carryover points are discarded if your teammates change due to a last minute cancellation.
Points Advantages
5 points — choose the side of the Beyblade X stadium.
10 points — choose the order of the opponents.
25 points — choose the order and the beys of the opponents.
In case two teams are looking for the same advantage and have points, they can bid with a +5 increment until one team outbids.
Each team gets 5 matches.
For each match you will set the order and present it to the organiser - then head to the battle. The points for all three teammates' are tallied against the other team and the score is logged.
Top four goes into the semi finals stage where 1st placed goes against 3rd placed & 2nd placed goes up against 4th place.
In the semi finals, you will face all three opponents in the ABC-BCA-CAB order with the final points being tallied.
The team with the highest points wins. In case of a draw, a tiebreaker will be held with each team sending one teammate and one bey in a final showdown.
