About Event

“Talk & Walk”, a new LA UXR Meetup series designed to bring the UXR community together through both conversation and movement! We’re helping make knowledge accessible to everyone, whether they’re in LA or not. At the same time, LA UXR Meetup is holding true to its purpose: to meet up in person and connect!

This virtual event is the Talk part of LA UXR Meetup’s new Talk & Walk series, with a virtual webinar focused on UX research topics, shared experiences, and open discussion.

A few days later, we’ll host a separate in-person walk at the beach or another outdoor location. This is a casual way to continue the conversation over coffee or tea and connect face-to-face while enjoying the outdoors.

Using conversation design and AI agents to scale research

Go behind the scenes at Albertsons Companies, Inc. where Monique Escamilla and her team use AI driven “research agents”, to scale research from intaking requests, refining project scope, identifying past insights, and routing teams toward the fastest, credible next step. This approach has enabled a small team to scale, while pushing the boundaries of what impactful research outcomes look like. Example? She's currently building an AI Shopping Assistant and Conversation Quality frameworks with Product and Engineering.

She currently leads product research at Albertsons Companies, Inc., while building enterprise-grade research infrastructure for AI experiences.
