​Open Design is an open-source, local-first alternative to Claude Design. It helps you turn ideas, prompts, references, and design systems into real visual outputs and editable projects, while working with the coding agents and tools you already use. https://open-design.ai/

​About the Event

​Open Design is coming to Osaka / Kyoto around July 6 for a small, casual meetup and hands-on workshop.

​This will be a small-group workshop / meetup at a cafe or bar. We’ll introduce Open Design, try it together, look at a few examples, and share how people are using AI agents for design, prototyping, websites, decks, and visual content.

​Who Should Join

​This event is for designers, developers, indie makers, AI tool explorers, product people, and anyone curious about local-first creative workflows with AI. No deep technical background is required.

​About Me

​I’m the Growth Lead for Open Design, an AI enthusiast, and an AntiDistill skill builder. I’ve been interviewed by MIT Technology Review, NHK, and have joined several well-known hackathons as a guest judge.

​I’d love this to be a friendly space to meet people who are curious about AI, design, open-source tools, and building new things.

​Venue

​The exact venue is still being finalized. Recommendations for nice cafes or bars in Osaka / Kyoto are very welcome.

​Please note: if there are not enough participants or if we are unable to find a suitable venue, the meetup may be canceled.

​イベントについて

​7月6日前後に、大阪・京都で、小さな Open Design meetup / hands-on workshop を開催します。

​今回は、カフェかバーで行う少人数のカジュアルな workshop / meetup です。Open Design の紹介、実際に触る時間、いくつかの事例紹介、そして AI agent を使った design / prototyping / website / deck / visual content の作り方についての共有を予定しています。

​対象

​対象は、designer、developer、indie maker、AI tool が好きな方、product 関係の方、local-first な AI creative workflow に興味がある方です。高度な技術知識は不要です。

​自己紹介

​私は Open Design の Growth Lead で、AI enthusiast、そして AntiDistill の skill builder です。MIT Technology Review、NHK などのメディアに取材されたことがあり、いくつかの有名な hackathon にもゲストとして参加してきました。

​AI、design、open-source tool、新しいものづくりに興味がある方と気軽につながれる場にできればと思っています。少しでも興味があれば、ぜひゆるく話しましょう。

​会場について

​場所は現在調整中です。大阪・京都で良さそうなカフェやバーのおすすめがあれば、ぜひ教えてください。

​参加人数が十分に集まらない場合、または適切な会場が見つからない場合は、開催を見送る可能性があります。
