Spatial Design Across Industries - VR/AR Association Singapore
Join us for an evening exploring best practices in how spatial design translates across industries.
This roundtable will unpack shared principles, transferable practices, and recurring design patterns behind effective spatial computing experiences, across enterprise, public sector, and professional training contexts.
Practitioners will share insights on what works, what doesn’t, and how approaches from one context can inform others. The focus is on practical takeaways, thoughtful exchange, and cross-industry learning.
Roundtable Guests:
Senthil Baskaran (OCBC)
OCBC, Vice President and Technology Architect
Senthil is the Vice President (Technology Architect) at OCBC Bank, overseeing Emerging Technologies across the Group. He leads the discovery, design, and scaling of cutting‑edge solutions in Spatial Computing, AR/VR/MR, IoT, and Enterprise AI, bringing more than 21 years of multi‑industry experience across banking, government, telecom, consulting, and product engineering. This diverse background gives him a uniquely cross‑disciplinary perspective on spatial design and its real‑world applications.
Since 2022, Senthil has been instrumental in establishing OCBC’s AR/VR/MR capabilities, setting up enterprise‑grade spatial platforms across SIT, UAT, PROD and DR, and delivering flagship immersive applications — including OCBC Heritage AR/VR experiences, Apple Vision Pro applications, Hologram rostrum, and Meta Quest–based sustainability training modules.
His work has directly impacted to employee experience, operational efficiency and cost savings to the bank through internal capability building, including hands‑on AR/VR upskilling for engineering teams and the in‑house development of immersive training and brand experience applications.
Senthil also drives emerging technology adoption across IoT, deepfake detection, AI‑assisted operations, and risk‑aware innovation — contributing to OCBC’s broader digital transformation and next‑generation customer and employee experiences.
At this roundtable, Senthil brings practical insights from deploying immersive solutions in a large enterprise environment — from architecture and platform standardization to scaling spatial applications responsibly and sustainably across business lines.
