Join the Bay Area Center for Faith, Work & Tech for an evening with Jay Y. Kim, lead pastor of WestGate Church in Silicon Valley and author of The Pace of Peace: Distraction, Attention, and the Gifts of an Examined Life (IVP, 2026). Jay will explore how the ancient practice of the examen can help us slow down, pay attention to God, and live with peace in the middle of busy lives and demanding work.

Jay Y. Kim has spent two decades in local church ministry in the Bay Area. He is the author of Analog Church, Analog Christian, Listen, Listen, Speak, and The Pace of Peace, and hosts IVP's Digital Examen podcast.
WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone working in the Bay Area, in tech or anywhere else, who wants to bring their faith into their work. Pastors, ministry leaders, and curious friends are welcome too. Bring a colleague.
