Join Crowdsource Choir for a special Summer Solstice Sing at Alki Beach.
We’ll gather inside the historic Alki Bathhouse to celebrate the Summer Solstice through communal singing, collective expression, and shared harmonies.
This year’s Summer Solstice Sing will also include the creation of a brand-new crowdsourced Summer Anthem shaped by your voices, your sounds, and your feelings of summer and the solstice.
Ticket holders will be invited into the creative process, contributing words, sounds, and recordings that will help shape an original anthem that we’ll sing together live on the longest day of the year.
This is more than a sing-along. It’s a chance to help create something together that could only exist through the people gathered in the room.
Together, we’ll sing songs of summer, sunshine, warmth, freedom, and light. Songs of uplift, joy, connection, and collective release. Then, through the crowdsourced feeling and expressions gathered from the community beforehand, we’ll bring a brand-new co-created Summer Anthem to life together inside the natural acoustics of the bathhouse by the Salish Sea.
No singing experience is needed. Crowdsource Choir is designed for everyone. You do not need to be a “good singer” to participate. All breathers welcome.
This is not a performance to watch from the sidelines. The crowd becomes the choir.
You'll be guided live, learnign simple harmonies, layered vocal parts, rhythms, and some familiar songs in a way that is accessible, playful, and deeply communal.
We’ll conclude in time to step out onto the beach to watch the sunset together as daylight stretches into summer night.
Afterward, feel free to continue the evening around the beach bonfire. We’ll keep the fire going well into the night.
