​Are you a queer, transgender, LGBT+, or BIPOC tech builder, community thinker, or care worker? Corporate tech groups and extractive business networks can often feel cold, exclusive, and hyper-focused on financial status. We built a completely different space for you.
This August marks a full year that PurrEssence has offered a free, gentle third space in Vancouver. Join us for our special summer outing—a sweet afternoon to share ice cream, talk about healthy systems, and build real community.

​Always 100% Free: We believe human connection is a gift, not a monthly subscription or a high-pressure transactional contract
​Open and Inclusive: Our year-round monthly meetups are completely open to all genders, sober folks, community members, and parents who wish to bring their children
​Our Seasonal Outings: We host one special gathering every season at an aligned local space—starting with this summer ice cream social and moving to a cozy hot chocolate social this autumn
​Our Tiny Gathering
​Small and Grounded: We limit this specific outing to only 6 people to ensure a calm, safe environment for your nervous system
​Space to be Heard: Every attendee has the room to participate and share their thoughts comfortably
​RSVP Courtesy: Because space is limited, please change your registration status early if your plans change so a peer can join our circle
​The Flow (5:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
​Opening & Gratitude (10 mins): We each share one thing we are thankful for to ground the room in positive energy
​Generative Discussion (30 mins): Exploring weekly themes through stories of care, logic, and clean design information
​Open Connection (20 mins): Relaxed time to chat and build authentic friendships without any business pressure
​Shared Focus (6:00 PM – 6:30 PM)
​Stay until 3:30 PM if you desire for casual collective socializing and deeper conversation
​A relaxed space to share your current projects and align with other heart-centred thinkers

​Location: Meet inside Slothfuls at 5242 Kingsway by the plant wall
​How to Spot Us: Crissy will be holding a Monster Cat plushie
​Transit: A short walk or bus ride from the Royal Oak Skytrain station
​Parking: Paid meter parking is available on Kingsway
