About Event

​Building Adaptation Skills for the Changing Climate Workshops & Tree Planting activities is funded by the City of Edmonton through the Community Adaptation Micro Grant.

​This is a community-focused climate adaptation initiative designed to increase awareness, strengthen practical adaptation skills and inspire meaningful environmental action among residents of Edmonton and the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan area.

​The initiative combines climate education with hands-on environmental stewardship by providing residents with the knowledge, tools, and experience needed to better understand climate risks and implement practical solutions that support community resilience.

​​​Workshop: ​Friday, October 30th, 2026

​Time:  5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

​Venue: Stanley A. Milner Library, Community Room 1

​The workshops and tree planting activities are free and open to the public.
