9th Munich Hardware Meetup
We're excited to welcome you to the 9th Munich Hardware Meetup!
This time, we'll focus on building HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) platforms and hardware systems, as well as navigating CE compliance requirements to bring reliable products into the real world
It will be an evening of practical lessons, honest stories and networking with fellow founders, engineers and hardware people in Munich.
Guest speakers
Tobias Meyer
Talk: So You Want to Sell Hardware?
Subtitle: Introduction to CE and Compliance
Tobias has spent over a decade writing firmware for things that end up in the real world — from energy harvesting radio modules at EnOcean to battery-powered IIoT sensors on railway tracks at KONUX.
Over time, he grew from hands-on firmware engineer into a full Engineering Manager role — becoming the classic jack of all trades: firmware, hardware reviews, team leadership, compliance and everything in between.
As of June, he is joining Hula Earth as an IoT Device Expert. Along the way, he has navigated CE marking, the EU Cyber Resilience Act and the many surprises that come with shipping actual hardware.
Tonight, he'll save you from finding out the hard way.
