The SCetchClub Anniversary Mannheim
Two years ago, when I arrived in Germany, I felt really lonely. Out of a small idea —" maybe I’ll just draw somewhere in a café?" — Sketchclub was born. Now, two years later, we’re drawing together. We’ve spread across 10 cities, and we are almost 800 people. And this is what we’re going to celebrate.
On May 23rd, 2026, we’re gathering in Mannheim for a picnic in the Unterer Luisenpark — a potluck, drawing together, talking, and simply spending time in the atmosphere that makes Sketchclub what it is.
Bring something small to share, bring your sketchbook or materials if you want, or just come by and sit with us. I’ll also bring a few small gifts for you. If you feel like it, you’re welcome to bring something small to exchange — a sketch, a sticker, or anything you’d like to share.
If it’s your first time — you are very welcome. No hesitation needed. It’s the perfect moment to join and get to know everyone.
What to expect:
– a cozy picnic with people drawing all around you
– potluck food and snacks to share
– a relaxed, open atmosphere (you can join anytime)
– good conversations and new connections
– a shared drawing experience
– small surprises and a little exchange
