AI Worth Using Podcast x OpenClaw 2.0 Hackathon
Hackthon: Use OpenClaw 2.0 to Build Your Startup's First Hire.
Hosted by AgentCribs, a PWV Community.
We just launched the AI Worth Using Podcast, a show where guests like Peter Steinberger (creator of OpenClaw) and Jesse Vincent (creator of Superpowers) teach Tom Preston-Werner (co-founder of GitHub) how to use their products.
To celebrate, we're hosting a hackathon:
Use OpenClaw 2.0's new multiplayer mode to build your startup's first hire.
The Hackathon winner, or a member of the winning team, will be flown to SF on October 6th to workshop their agent with AgentCribs, a community of Silicon Valley agentic software builders and present it live to the developer community.
Here's how it works:
Build an OpenClaw 2.0 agent that solves a real problem for your startup. Get people using it:
Give it a real job. Build an OpenClaw 2.0 agent that owns a startup role you need filled: an SDR, an investor-relations lead, a recruiter. It should do the work itself, not demo it or mock it up. Every entry must use multiplayer mode, so build something others (employees, customers, vendors) will interface with.
Publish it for others to run. Your agent must be publicly available (MIT licensed) and submitted to the AI Worth Using Agent Index.
Qualify through real usage. Agents are ranked by user installs and token usage reported to the AI Worth Using Agent Index. The top five on Wednesday, September 30th at 11:59 pm PT go to Tom Preston-Werner, founder of Github and members of the AgentCribs Developer community to pick the winner.
The prizes
The first-place agent on the leaderboard or one member of the winning team will receive:
- A flight to San Francisco with accommodation.
- An invitation to AgentCribs with Tom Preston-Werner on October 6th.
- A live demo to the AgentCribs Developer community
- Two engraved, special edition Mac Minis (one for you, one for the top user of your agent).
Can't make it to SF in person? You'll demo your agent for Tom & Sam on an AI Worth Using podcast segment and we'll show it at the AgentCribs event.
Rules
