AGI & Defence: A Fireside Chat with Dr. Robert Fink

AGI is reshaping the foundations of military power. As we move towards superintelligence, what will it take for Europe to keep pace and build the companies that define this new era of defence?

Join us for a fireside chat with Dr. Robert Fink, CTO of Helsing. It is Europe’s most valuable defence startup, built around the conviction that AI will define the next generation of military capabilities. Robert leads its technology and software development, overseeing AI development across combat aircraft, autonomous drones, and underwater surveillance systems.

Before Helsing, he was the founding engineer and chief architect of Palantir Foundry, its flagship data integration and analytics platform. He holds a PhD in database theory from Oxford and degrees in physics and computer science.

Hosted at Alexandria headquarters, this fireside chat brings Robert into conversation about AGI and defence: how rapidly advancing AI changes what a defence company can build, how it should operate, and what Europe needs to secure its future.
