Connecting Families Secondary Years: Understanding EHCPs
Secondary Years Connecting Families: Understanding EHCPs
Parents and carers of secondary school‑aged children with vision impairment – join us for an online session focused on understanding Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
This session has been designed to help families better understand Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), the process, their options, and where to go for support.
We'll be joined by RSBC's Information, Support and Guidance Specialist, Edyta, who will share information and answer your questions.
What we'll cover:
What an EHCP is, who they are for, and whether your child may need one
How to access support and get help with the EHCP process
What to expect:
Guidance from RSBC's Information, Support and Guidance Specialist
A supportive space to ask questions and connect with other parents and carers of young people with VI
This session will take place online, and we’ll send you the Zoom details once you’ve registered for the event.
If you have any questions, please contact Harriet, RSBC Family Activity Coordinator, at harriet.hemmings@rsbc.org.uk
