Sprint Zero: Techies vs Non-Techies
What is Sprint Zero?
We’re building something new. And instead of perfecting it behind closed doors, we’re doing it in public.
Sprint Zero is the first in a series of AI Hub events designed to bring together builders, thinkers, and decision-makers. Not a conference. Not a typical hackathon. An experiment in how people actually collaborate around AI.
The Concept
Dutch companies bring real challenges they’re actively struggling with. You join a team of people you don’t know and spend the afternoon solving one. With AI.
Team Setup
You’ll be placed in a team with people you haven’t met before, that’s part of the experience. The room will be filled with builders, thinkers, and operators from different backgrounds, making it a great opportunity to meet new people and work in ways you normally wouldn’t.
You’re very welcome to invite your team along. Just know that teams will be mixed on purpose, to spark new connections, fresh perspectives, and unexpected collaborations.
How it works
You join one of two tracks. Both work on the same challenges.
Non-Tech Track | Walk-in at 11.30
For strategists, product people, designers, and the AI-curious. Structured workshops, hands-on guidance, and coaches throughout the day.
👉 The goal isn’t to compete with the tech track. It’s to surprise yourself.Tech Track | Walk-in at 13.00
For developers, engineers, and anyone who codes. No workshops. No hand-holding. Just a challenge, a team, and a time limit.
👉 Expect a mid-build twist that will test your instincts as much as your skills.

Workshops (Non-Tech track only)
Three hands-on workshops from our partners kick off the morning:
🔸 Miro — Idea to Pitch to Prototype in 30 mins, with Seán Winters From half-formed idea to demo-able prototype, inside Miro's AI playground.
🔸 ClickHouse — Building with Agentic AI: From Idea to Real-Time Reality, with Arjan Hijstek Load a dataset into the ClickHouse app, enable MCP, and watch your agent talk to live data in real time.
🔸 Google — Vibecoding with Gemini: From Plain English to Working App, with Jasper Geelen Describe what you want in plain English, let Gemini scaffold the code, and ship a working app by the end of the session.
The Jury
Two rounds, two juries. First, you pitch your challenge to a panel of partner judges — one winner per challenge moves through. Those winners then take the stage again in front of a second jury of founders and experts to compete for the final prize.
🏆 The Prize
Over €10,000 in prize value in form of an AI Hub shared desk membership for every member of the winning team, including 6 months of co-working space, community, and the network that comes with it.
