Shaun’s path is anything but ordinary. He built his first computer at age seven, spent his teenage years in hacker forums, and became fascinated with physics to the point where he couldn’t sleep at 13 because of a thought experiment he couldn’t solve (later discovering that space is curved). Despite struggling in high school, he went on to found five companies, three successful exits-and completed a PhD in quantum gravity.
Today, Shaun leads investments across space technologies, defense systems, complex physical infrastructure, and frontier deep-tech, and has backed several Israeli startups in the defense sector. He brings a rare perspective that blends scientific depth, hands-on founding experience, and an insider view of how US investors evaluate defense tech opportunities.
