Reclaim your Attention: Stop Scrolling, Start Achieving
12:30 PM - 14:00 PM UK Time
Stop scrolling. Start achieving.
You have big goals for 2026. But those goals require something you've been giving away for free: your time and attention.
This workshop is for ambitious creatives and learners who are tired of watching their time disappear into their feeds while their dreams sit untouched.
What we'll cover:
✨ Interactive Activities – Reflect on your offline strengths and uncover where your time is really going
📱 Why We Can't Stop Scrolling – The uncomfortable truth about how we value our time, plus the science behind why scrolling feels so good (but leaves us empty)
🧠 How You're Being Manipulated – The design tactics social platforms use to keep you hooked—and why the billionaires who created them don't use their own products
💡 Practical Strategies to Take Back Control – How to protect your time like a CEO, unfollow what doesn't serve you, and turn your screen into a tool for achievement instead of distraction
It's a conversation and a space for you to finally take a moment and make a strategic and intentional decision to replace your screen time with your learnings and creative endeavours.
If you're ready to stop giving your time away and start achieving what you wrote down in your goals list, let's do this.
The Host
Hi, I'm Zaynab. I made the decision to reclaim my time when I realised my pursuit of being a lifelong learner was being hindered by addictive algorithms.
As someone who was once an avid reader, I noticed my time spent not reading directly correlated to increased time on my phone. Studying the neuroscience of the brain and social media's impact on it in my spare time, I realised something huge: we've convinced ourselves that the dopamine rush from our phones is equal to experiencing life—but it's all smoke and mirrors.
As someone who works a corporate job but wants to live a full life outside of that too, I realised I could not donate the remainder of my time to content that added no value to my life or, rather, hindered my opportunity to build meaningful learning experiences.
I now want to teach others what I've learnt so we can, as a collective, return to our most creative and learned selves.
