About Event

Tuesday, 11 August 2026
5:00 PM–8:00 PM
500 Social House, Kuala Lumpur

A private gathering of Malaysia’s leading AI builders, founders, and operators—featuring Paul Copplestone, Co-founder and CEO of Supabase.

Paul’s startup journey began in Kuala Lumpur, continued through Singapore and San Francisco, and eventually led to Supabase: one of the world’s most widely used developer platforms.

He’ll share the story behind that journey, the early decisions that shaped Supabase, and what it takes to build a global technology company from a first move.

Following Paul’s session, a curated group of Malaysian AI builders will take the stage for a rapid-fire show-and-tell, sharing what they are currently building, experimenting with, and shipping.

Expect honest stories, live demos, ambitious ideas, good conversations, and drinks with some of Malaysia’s most exciting builders.

Show & Tell

We are curating a small group of approximately 10 standout builders to share what they are actively working on. Presenter selection will be intentionally selective to keep the session highly relevant, practical, and valuable for everyone in the room.

This is not a pitch competition or fundraising showcase. We are not looking for polished sales decks, market-size slides, or investor pitches.

This is a true show and tell: demonstrate something cool you have built, walk us through how it works, and share a useful lesson, insight, or technical challenge with the wider builder community.

Early-stage experiments, working prototypes, open-source projects, internal tools, creative technical explorations, and launched products are all welcome. What matters most is that you have something interesting to show and something useful that other builders can learn from.

Due to the limited number of presentation slots, applications will be carefully reviewed and curated by the organising team. Select “I’d like to share what I’m building” during registration to apply.
