• ​Stephen Wink, Global Co-Chair of Latham’s Fintech Industry Group, is widely recognized as one of the leading voices in U.S. financial regulation. He advises exchanges, trading platforms (including DeFi protocols), and fintechs on securities laws and market regulation. Stephen is known for his practical insights into the complex and evolving regulatory landscape surrounding digital assets and DeFi.

• ​Sam Maxson is at the forefront of advising DeFi and Web3 businesses. He advises clients across the fintech and payments ecosystem on strategic, regulatory, and structuring matters. Sam has worked with central banks and regulators globally to design and implement digital asset frameworks, and regularly supports clients navigating complex multi-jurisdictional DeFi regulatory issues.
