About Event

Worried about phishing emails, weak passwords, unsafe data handling, or how AI is changing online risks?

This practical, hands-on workshop focuses on practical cyber resilience for charities and community organisations. The session is designed for charities, social enterprises and community organisations that want to build confidence around everyday digital and cyber risk. You do not need to be technical to take part.

Working in small groups, you’ll take part in a series of interactive challenges and guided activities exploring:

  • understanding your organisation’s data risk

  • spotting phishing and malware risks

  • managing access and passwords more safely

  • reducing risks when working remotely or in shared spaces

  • how AI and emerging technology are changing the risk landscape

The session is designed for non-technical staff, managers and decision-makers who want a clearer picture of where the risks sit in their organisation and what practical steps to take next. You’ll leave with useful prompts, actions and a simple framework to help you review your own organisation’s approach.
