LeRobot Building Session
Build a robot arm from a box of parts.
AROC has a fleet of LeRobot arms waiting to be built, and we need your hands. LeRobot is Hugging Face’s open-source robotics project, and the SO-101 is the low-cost arm built around it: 3D-printed parts, six servos and a lot of potential for robot learning.
In this hands-on session you’ll put an arm together from start to finish. You’ll work in small teams, and AROC members will guide you through every step. No experience needed
What you’ll do
- Get to know the SO-101 design and its parts
- Mount the servos into the 3D-printed frame
- Assemble the joints, gripper and base
Good to know
- Tools and parts are provided, just bring yourself
- Spots are limited by the number of kits, so register early
- The arms stay with AROC for upcoming LeRobot projects. If LeRobot catches your interest, you’re welcome to stay on for future projects and help train these robot arms.
