​In this “Art as resistance” workshop, we’ll discuss what values and care practices we want to commit to within our interpersonal relationships. Our relationships are everything. They are the heart of our resistance as fascism gets closer and closer to our doorsteps.

​Maybe it’s growing through conflict. Awareness of power dynamics. Radical acceptance. Honoring people’s no’s. Sitting with our shame. Because our relationships are the pathway to freedom. We can’t replicate the systems of oppression we are fighting against in the pockets of the communities that are meant to keep us safe.

​We’ll capture this in a block print we can hang in our homes as a reminder of this commitment. We’ll have premade block print blocks for you to use or you can carve your own block at the workshop.
