About Event

Plenty of security programs get built one incident at a time. This session is about designing for the threats before they arrive.

Barbara Teruggi, Security Architect at Allianz Technology, draws on nearly two decades in finance and insurance to show what proactive security looks like in practice: how to spot the patterns that lead to incident-driven design, where threat modeling and secure defaults pay off earliest, and how to build the case for prevention when the pressure is to just ship. Expect a practical, architecture-level view from someone who has worked across development, DevOps, and security.

OWASP Barcelona is hosted this month by Softonic at their Poblenou offices, a short walk from Glòries. Entry is free and open to the community, though you'll need to RSVP so Softonic can add you to the building access list. If your plans change, please update your RSVP to keep our headcount accurate. We'll keep the conversation going over drinks at a nearby bar afterward.

Location
Carrer de Roc Boronat, 117
Sant Martí, 08018 Barcelona, Spain
