About Event

A practical conversation about how AI is changing performance, management and development inside growing companies.

We keep hearing that AI is making people faster and more productive, but what we’re seeing in practice is more complicated.

Within the same company, one team may have built AI into almost everything they do while another has barely started. Some managers are using AI to hold on to more work rather than delegate it. Junior employees are missing out on tasks that once helped them develop judgement and experience. And someone who appears to be producing more may simply be creating more work for the person who has to check it.

This leaves People Leaders with some difficult questions.

🔹How do you compare performance when people are working in completely different ways?

🔹How do you tell the difference between polished output and real capability?

🔹What should you recognise and reward: using AI more, producing more, or helping the whole team perform better?

At OverTime Leader, FiveThings starts with the patterns we see across our work with clients. We take five challenges that keep coming up and bring people together to discuss what is really happening inside their organisations.

We’ll share the five things we’re seeing, ask what we’ve missed and let the group choose which challenges we spend the most time working through.

We’ll bring the insight from our work. You’ll bring your own experiences, questions and examples. Together, we’ll look at what is working, what is not and what People Leaders might need to do differently.

This is for you if:

🌊AI use varies significantly across your organisation

📈Your existing approach to measuring performance no longer feels sufficient

💪You’re reconsidering how managers delegate, develop people and hold them accountable

🧭You’re thinking about how roles and career paths need to change

💻You’re trying to define what responsible and valuable AI use looks like in practice

What to expect:

🚨Five challenges drawn directly from our work with leaders and teams

🚧The opportunity to add a challenge from your own organisation

👥A practical, facilitated discussion with other HR and People Leaders

💡Ideas and examples you can take back into your business

FiveThings sessions are designed for participation, so come ready to share your perspective and learn from others doing the same work.

Format: One-hour virtual session.

The group is capped at 20 people to make sure everyone has the opportunity to contribute.
