LIMINAL is a deep listening series exploring experimental and restorative electronic music, from ambient, field recordings, and nature sounds to slushwave, vaporwave, and other experimental internet music forms, all the way to dub techno and beyond. This edition features R-DNA, 1ol1v1a, and treesunstars, beginning with R-DNA’s ambient soundscapes, followed by 1ol1v1a’s slushwave and rhythmic textures, before treesunstars closes with deep, dub-inflected techno.

Hailing from Ukraine and now based in Brooklyn, R-DNA is a techno DJ guided by a deep belief in the restorative power of electronic music. Moving between ambient, hypnotic, and minimal techno, experimenting with percussion and synth patterns, their sets help uncover and embrace something primal, across dancefloors where the communal and the deeply personal collapse into one.

1ol1v1a is a Brooklyn-based DJ and producer working across modern hardgroove, ’90s techno, ambient, and slushwave. Her sets move between club intensity and restorative listening, from rhythmic energy into immersive, atmospheric sound. As founder of LIMINAL and co-founder of CTRL_F, she plays textured, emotionally charged sets in NYC nightlife.
