Curiosity Across Borders: From Costa Rica to Northwestern & Stanford
📅 Date: Monday, October 6
⏰ Time: 5:00–6:00pm PT
📍 Location: Zoom or in-person at Buena Vida Coffee, Costa Rica
As parents, we want the very best for our kids–opportunities to grow, to dream bigger, and to prepare for futures that extend beyond the classroom. But finding resources that truly connect students in Costa Rica to global opportunities can feel out of reach.
That’s where Curious Cardinals comes in.
Curious Cardinals matches students (ages 8–18) with inspiring mentors from the world’s top universities, like Stanford, Harvard, Northwestern, and more. These mentors aren’t just tutors; they’re role models who help kids build confidence in school, explore passions, and launch projects that open doors to the future.
This event will spotlight a Costa Rica success story: how one family discovered Curious Cardinals, and how it shaped their children’s paths.
You’ll hear from:
Gally – a Costa Rica parent whose children found confidence, direction, and joy through Curious Cardinals.
Ilan – Gally’s son, who started as a Curious Cardinals student in Costa Rica, discovered engineering, and is now a senior at Northwestern mentoring the next generation.
Michelle – a Lincoln School alum who went on to Stanford, now works at Google, and mentors students through Curious Cardinals.
Audrey Wisch – Founder & CEO of Curious Cardinals, who will share how mentorship empowers kids everywhere to dream bigger and achieve more.
In this one-hour event, you’ll:
✅ Discover how mentorship with top-university students can support your child in academics, passion projects, and personal growth.
✅ Hear real stories from Costa Rica families who’ve experienced the impact firsthand.
✅ Learn how Curious Cardinals can open pathways to global opportunities and prepare your child for what’s next.
Curious Cardinals has already matched thousands of students around the world with near-peer mentors who inspire them to take their next steps with confidence. Now, we’re excited to share this resource with families in Costa Rica.
