Curiosity Across Borders: From Costa Rica to Northwestern & Stanford
📅 Date: Monday, October 6
⏰ Time: 5:00–6:00pm PT
📍 Location: Zoom or in-person at Buena Vida Coffee, Costa Rica
High school is a critical time. These are the years where students can explore passions, gain real-world experience, and set themselves up for college and beyond. But tutoring and traditional college counseling can only take students so far.
Curious Cardinals is different. We pair students with mentors from top universities (Stanford, Harvard, Northwestern) who guide them through academics, passion projects, and personal growth in ways teachers, parents, or tutors simply can’t. These near-peer mentors help students push their curiosity further, own their learning, and take bold steps toward their future.
At this event, you’ll hear how mentorship helped Costa Rica families move beyond grades and test prep to achieve real results, like publishing research, launching projects, or exploring career paths with confidence.
You’ll meet:
Gally — Costa Rica parent who turned to Curious Cardinals to help her kids explore medicine, engineering, math, and more
Ilan — Gally’s son, who developed his passion for engineering through Curious Cardinals, graduated from Northwestern in Mechanical Engineering, and now works in Boston while mentoring the next generation
Michelle — Lincoln School alum and Stanford graduate, now working at Google, and mentoring students through Curious Cardinals
Audrey Wisch — Founder & CEO of Curious Cardinals, who will share the vision of students owning their path rather than following a predetermined track
In this one-hour event, you’ll:
✅ Discover how mentorship goes beyond tutoring or college counseling
✅ Learn how students can explore careers, launch impactful projects, and create authentic college applications
✅ Hear real stories from families in your community who have experienced transformative results
Curious Cardinals isn’t just extra help. It’s a holistic mentorship partner for parents who want their kids to explore passions, grow as leaders, and take confident ownership of their high school journey.
