Leveraging Apprenticely's Grant-Funded Intern Program for Startups
Hiring early talent can be tough for startups, especially when there’s real work to get done but limited time and resources to build out a team.
Join us on this webinar for a conversation with Nichole Parsons, Program Manager at Apprenticely, and Morgan Scholz, Chief People Officer at Acres, about how startups can leverage apprenticeship and internship programs to get meaningful support while building future talent pipelines.
Nichole will walk through Apprenticely’s Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program, including how startups can access grant-supported full-time interns for technical and operational roles with very little lift internally. Morgan will share how Acres has utilized the program firsthand, what the experience looked like operationally, and how it’s benefited their growing team.
A few details on the program:
Apprenticely sources and pre-screens candidates
Interns can work 40 hours/week for 12 weeks
Apprenticely covers $10 of the $15/hour wage
Startups get affordable support while evaluating future hires
Common projects include:
QA/testing support
Development support
Data and reporting projects
IT support
Marketing and graphic design
Documentation and systems clean-up
We’ll also talk through what types of startups are a good fit, lessons learned from implementing the program, and how founders can think creatively about growing their teams.
Whether you’re actively hiring or just looking for extra support on projects this year, this should be a practical conversation for startup teams across Northwest Arkansas.
