Blockchain Workshop: Your Gateway to Web3 Development

Curious about blockchain and Web3 but not sure where to begin?

Join the Blockchain Workshop, organized by Plan, Design, Solve & Create (PDSC) in collaboration with iBriz Academy. This workshop series is designed to provide a strong foundation in blockchain technology, combining interactive learning with hands-on development and a final project showcase.

What You'll Learn

  • Introduction to Blockchain: Blockchain basics, wallets, transactions, and real-world use cases.

  • Ethereum & Smart Contracts: Ethereum, EVM, Solidity, and smart contract fundamentals.

  • Hands-on Solidity: Write, deploy, and secure smart contracts with OpenZeppelin.

  • Building a dApp: Connect a frontend to a smart contract and build a simple NFT project.

  • Project Presentation & Careers: Present your project and explore Web3 career paths.

Workshop Format

  • Five days of instructor-led workshops with industry mentors

  • Interactive sessions featuring live demonstrations and hands-on exercises

  • Weekend dedicated to project development

  • Final project demonstration and presentation at iBriz Academy

  • Students looking to gain practical development experience

Requirements

  • A personal laptop

  • Basic programming knowledge is recommended but not mandatory

  • Willingness to learn and actively participate throughout the workshop

Event Schedule

  • July 14 to July 17: Workshop Sessions

  • July 18 & 19: Project Development (Self-paced)

  • July 20: Project Demonstration Day

  • Time: 7:30 to 8:30 (Participants must arrive by 7:15 AM sharp)

  • Venue: iBriz Academy

Registration

  • Seats are limited to 25 participants.

  • Submitting the registration form does not guarantee participation.

  • Participants will be selected based on their responses in the application form.

  • Priority will be given to 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students.

  • Selected participants will receive a confirmation email with workshop details before the event.

Participants who complete the workshop and present their projects on the final day will receive a certificate of completion.
