Dublin Tech Forum 🍻🗣️
Ahead of Dublin Tech Summit, ACT is bringing together founders, investors, and policy experts for an evening of networking and timely discussions around what it takes to build a company and scale across borders.
As EU competition rules, AI frameworks, and the proposed 28th regime continue to evolve, startup founders are navigating real implications for capital, market access, and cross-border growth. This event will explore where regulatory friction has emerged, how companies are responding, and what policymakers need to better understand about what startups need from EU Inc.
To help us bridge the gap between policy and practice, we are honored to be joined by Cynthia Nà Mhurchú, Member of the European Parliament, who will deliver a keynote address sharing her vision for a more competitive Europe and a thriving startup ecosystem in Ireland. As a key voice in the Parliament group on SMEs, MEP Nà Mhurchú will provide unique insights into how EU policy can better support small tech businesses in competing on a global stage.
Following the keynote, our panel of local founders and international experts will dive into the frontline realities of building and scaling from Ireland:
·      Jason Culloty, Founder, Skillsvista
·      Daniel Metadjer, Founder, Emblaze Digital
·      Gary Burka, Founder, Quanthymn
·     Chelsea Thomas, Executive Director, ACT
What to expect
·      Panel discussion on how regulatory friction reduces capital flow to startups, creates higher market barriers, and limits global scale
·      Practical insights from founders and experts who have successfully navigated complex regulatory systems to scale across European and international borders
·      High-value networking and drinks with founders, investors, and policy voices from Dublin Tech Week and the wider global tech ecosystem
About Developed: EU
Developed: EU brings together founders, investors, and ecosystem leaders to discuss local startup realities and how EU-level decisions increasingly shape the way teams build, launch, and scale. The goal is simple: build a stronger cross-border community, discuss what’s working (and what isn’t) for tech innovators, and carry those insights and relationships from the Developed: EU Tour into broader conversations about digital policy and competitiveness in Brussels.
