WHERE THINGS MEET - ART EXHIBITION
βWhere Things Meet π
βWhat happens when opposing forces converge?
βWhere Things Meet is Jordi-Lakeem Foster's debut solo exhibition, an immersive photographic experience exploring the moments where seemingly opposing forces collide: reverence and rebellion, softness and power, ancestry and modernity, the sacred and the styled.
βAcross twenty-five photographs presented in seven distinct chapters, the exhibition traces fourteen years of visual exploration through portraiture, fashion, identity, ritual, and personal evolution. Each body of work stands on its own while contributing to a single idea:
βThe most transformative moments happen at the point where worlds meet.
βFrom intimate portraits and ancestral storytelling to a reimagined tribute to Grace Jones, Where Things Meet invites guests into an evening where photography becomes conversation, atmosphere becomes narrative, and every image reveals another layer of the artist's journey.
βAbout the Artist π
βJordi-Lakeem Foster is the founder of JFP Studios, a Brooklyn-based photography and brand marketing agency built on the belief that imagery has the power to shape identity, influence perception, and move people to action.
βAfter arriving in Brooklyn from Jamaica in December 2012, a Photoshop lesson from his cousin sparked what would become a fourteen-year creative journey. That single lesson evolved into collaborations with hundreds of clients, nationally recognized campaigns, and a career built around visual storytelling.
βWhere Things Meet marks his first solo exhibition - a culmination of fourteen years behind the camera and the beginning of a new chapter as a fine art photographer.
