Creative Catalyst
Creative Catalyst: Fast-Track Your Cultural Career in Sweden.
Are you a migrant or newly arrived artist, creator, or cultural worker looking to establish yourself in Sweden? Join us for two intensive days, designed to give you the tools, networks, and insider knowledge you need to succeed.
Many talented cultural practitioners face barriers when entering the Swedish scene—not due to a lack of skill, but due to a lack of networks and understanding of local structures. Creative Catalyst is designed to bridge that gap. Hosted by STPLN in collaboration with SwIdeas and Foreign to Found, this event serves as a professional springboard into the Swedish cultural sector.
Full program presented mid May.
What to Expect:
Through a mix of expert keynotes, practical workshops, and networking sessions, you will gain:
Clarity: Understand how the Swedish system works, from funding and grants to unions and legal frameworks.
Visibility: Learn how to effectively pitch your work and present your artistic practice in a Swedish professional context.
Community: Connect with established institutions, independent cultural actors, and fellow creators to build lasting professional relationships.
