MISSION

Are you optimising for the right outcome?

For founders, CEOs and critical decision-makers across space systems, frontier technologies and intelligent infrastructure asking:

  • Are technical, commercial and mission teams actually optimising for the same outcome?

  • Are we solving the problem that matters, or increasingly optimising a proxy for it?

  • As AI and autonomy expand what the system can do, have we remained clear about what it should do, and where human judgement must remain?

In consequential technology, capability can advance faster than organisational clarity.

A technically successful system can still optimise the wrong objective. A mission can meet its immediate targets while creating commercial, operational or governance problems elsewhere. AI and autonomy amplify that risk because optimisation can increasingly happen at machine speed, across interconnected systems, and sometimes beyond immediate human intervention.

The question is therefore not simply can we build it?

It is:

What are we actually optimising for, and does the organisation still agree?

MY PROMISE

In 90 minutes, leave with greater clarity on:

  • the outcome your organisation, programme or system is actually optimising for;

  • where technical, commercial, operational or governance assumptions may be pulling in different directions;

  • the next consequential decision leadership needs to resolve before further commitment or acceleration.

We will examine where ambition, system behaviour and organisational incentives may have diverged; identify the assumptions shaping direction; and test whether the current mission still produces the outcome you intend.

Then we will identify the decision that matters next.

WHO I AM

I work with critical decision-makers and operators making consequential choices across Earth, AI and Space.

Across 25 years spanning astrophysics, advanced technology, AI strategy, governance, commercialisation and organisational leadership, I have worked across global enterprises, technology ecosystems and high-consequence environments where technical possibility has to survive operational, commercial and human reality.

My work focuses increasingly on the decisions that emerge as AI, autonomy and advanced technologies become embedded in systems and infrastructure: what we optimise for, where authority sits, how accountability is preserved and how organisations make sound commitments under uncertainty.

I also know that pressure from the inside, as a founder, board member and executive: incomplete information, finite capital, competing commitments and decisions whose consequences do not arrive neatly or immediately.

Bring the decision. We’ll examine what it really requires.
