Pitching Politicians

Friday 11 September | 11:30–12:00
Main Stage, Tech Open, Kungsträdgården, Stockholm

Imagine Sweden was a startup. Would you invest?

Two days before the Swedish election, four politicians get one shot to pitch their vision for Sweden’s startup and tech ecosystem, directly to the people building it.

The format is simple: pitch first, get grilled second.

Each politician takes the stage to convince a jury of founders and investors why their policies would make Sweden the best place in Europe to start, build and scale the next generation of companies.

Then comes the Q&A.

No campaign monologues. No pre-approved questions. The jury gets to challenge the pitches on the issues founders actually care about: talent, taxes, regulation, capital, ownership, AI, international competitiveness and what it will take to keep the next Spotify, Klarna or Lovable in Sweden.

And at the end?

The jury - and the audience - decide who made the strongest pitch.

Not who should win the election.
But who made the best case for Sweden as a place to build.

The format

4 politicians → 4 pitches → Founder & investor jury → Live questions → Audience vote → 1 winner
