Seminar: Solidarity Tech (the Platform Powering Zohran Mamdani's Movement) with Ivan Pardo

​This seminar will be a presentation by Ivan Pardo, the founder of Solidarity Tech, facilitated by Micah Sifry, writer and organizer.

​Solidarity Tech was originally built to help organize rideshare workers – a notably difficult-to-organize constituency. More recently, it served as the main technology backbone for Zohran Mamdani’s NYC mayoral campaign.

​The presentation will cover how the platform built for “deep organizing” of workers was leveraged as a CRM for grassroots political campaigns - including Mamdani. We will also facilitate a Q&A where we can ask questions to learn more about the complex governance of the system from from a socio-technical perspective.
