Altimate Code: Hackday

​Altimate Hackday is a full‑day, in‑person hack event for experienced data engineers (5–15 years) to build real data engineering workflows using the open source Altimate Code data engineering harness, with API access to Claude provided on-site. Participants will compete for prizes including a Mac Mini, premium headphones, and a Mokobara bag, plus swag like T‑shirts, bottles, and stickers.

​Across the day, you’ll get a short roadmap + live demo of altimate-code, then 8 hours of focused hacking followed by team demos, judging, and prize distribution. Industry‑veteran judges will evaluate projects based on clear criteria, and the best data engineering builds with Altimate Code will be showcased after the event.

​Timeline

​The timeline is simple: check‑in and kick‑off in the morning, two hack sessions with lunch and breaks, evening demos and awards, and then informal “How I AI” sessions where engineers share their personal AI workflows before chilling and networking with other DEs over snacks. The goal is to explore new data engineering workflows in AI using Altimate Code and create a relaxed space to meet fellow builders and potential collaborators.
