​About the Gateway City AI Coalition

​Massachusetts Gateway Cities deserve a strong voice in shaping the future of artificial intelligence.

​The Gateway City AI Coalition is a new statewide effort led by Minds With Purpose to bring together leaders across education, workforce development, government, business, technology, philanthropy, and community organizations.

​This launch conversation is designed to hear directly from leaders across the Commonwealth about what our cities need, what opportunities already exist, what risks we must address, and how we can build an AI future that is inclusive, ethical, practical, and locally rooted.

​This is not just a tech conversation. It is a conversation about economic mobility, workforce development, education, small business growth, youth opportunity, civic innovation, and making sure multicultural communities are not left behind.

​During this conversation, we will explore:

​How Gateway Cities can prepare for the future of AI
How AI can support education, workforce, entrepreneurship, and public service
What barriers communities are facing
Who needs to be at the table
How the coalition should be structured moving forward

​This session is open to leaders connected to Gateway Cities, including educators, workforce partners, elected officials, municipal leaders, nonprofit leaders, entrepreneurs, employers, youth advocates, technologists, students, and community builders.
