About Event

Greetings,

Thank you for joining XR Women for a Live Immersive Tour with Deirdre V. Lyons and Whitton Frank of the 2026 Emmy Award-Winning Ferryman Collective!

In order to join us, please complete the following 3 steps as soon as possible.

1. Create a VRChat account:

If you do not have VR Chat account, you may click this link to set one up: VRChat - Register.

**Please take note of your exact username (case sensitive) and password as you will need this for the next step**

And send that to us at info@XRWomen.com as soon as possible.

2. Set up the VRChat application:

After creating your VRChat account, you will need to download and log in to the VRChat application on a Quest 3, 3s, or Quest Pro. Alternatively you may use any headset that tethers to a PC computer and can access VRChat via Steam or the Oculus app. When given a choice to log in with VRChat or log in with Meta, please use VRChat.

3. Join the Ferryman Collective VR Group:

Join our group online via the VRChat website by clicking this link.

THEN: Ten minutes before THE EVENT:

Put on your headset and launch the VRChat app.
Open your Launch Pad (the in-world menu) by pressing the top button on either controller.
Point your laser at ‘Groups’ and click the trigger button.

Look for ‘Group Activity’ and then the square under ‘VR Theater Performance Group’.

Point your laser at that square and click the trigger button.

Then, point your laser at ‘Join’ and click the trigger button.

You’ll now be on your way to the performance!

Be sure to:

- Charge your headset and have charged batteries in your controllers

- Bring earphones/earbuds (in case of audio feedback)

- Update all applicable apps (VRChat)

- Update apps in your headset

- Log in to VRChat and join us via the "VR Theatre Performance" group 5 minutes prior to showtime.

-If given a choice to log in with VRChat or log in with Meta/Discord, please use VRChat.

Troubleshooting:

If you are having problems joining us, exit the VRChat application and restart it. If you continue having problems, please restart your headset and try again.

If you need further technical assistance, we will be monitoring our Ferryman Collective Zoom starting at 10 minutes prior to showtime:
