​Come find out what Texas A&M AI Safety is about and whether it is something you want to be part of.

​This is our first event of the semester. We will cover what AI safety actually is, why the people building the most capable AI in the world are treating it as one of the most serious problems of our time, what we are running this fall, and how to get involved. No preparation needed. Dinner is served.

​What we offer this semester:

​Intro Fellowship: Two tracks, technical and policy. Meets weekly for one semester and ends with a project you choose. Applications open September 21st.

​Reading Group: Weekly discussions on current AI safety research, aimed at graduate students and advanced undergraduates.

​Events: Speaker events, workshops, and general meetings open to everyone.

​Texas A&M AI Safety is a student-led community dedicated to reducing catastrophic risks from advanced AI. We are engineers, policy thinkers, business students, scientists, and ethicists , all working on the same problem from different angles.

​This is the defining problem of our generation. We are Aggies. We show up.
