We have a very special night planned this December for Naples Tech Meetup.
This event will directly benefit the regional chapter of Salvation Army, as a portion of the proceeds will be donated that very evening!
4-5pm: VIP session conducted by Laura Waller, Planned Giving Director at Salvation Army, and Brook Bright, Private Wealth Advisor at Venture Visionary Partners.
5-6pm: Open networking with participants.
6pm: Entrepreneurial Journeys on the theme of building abundance.
During our VIP from 4pm, we will be hearing from Nate Johnson, president of Potter Homes, alongside Laura Waller and Brook Bright. Nate believes that building luxury homes is more than aesthetics: it’s about creating something lasting, meaningful, and aligned with the company's values. He emphasizes that through a foundation of faith, family, and excellence, his business can serve not only clients but also strengthen families and contribute to the greater good. Guided by a deep sense of purpose, Nate sees entrepreneurship as a platform to inspire integrity, generosity, and positive change within the communities he helps shape.
During our evening’s program, we will be hearing from one of the lead investors in Tamiami Angel Funds. Tamiami Angel Funds is a member-managed angel investment group that brings together accredited investors to support early-stage, high-growth companies. They focus on startups with strong leadership teams, scalable business models, and innovative solutions addressing significant market needs. Beyond capital, TAF provides strategic guidance, mentorship, and access to an experienced investor network. With a portfolio of 90+ companies, they aim to bridge the gap between promising entrepreneurs and the resources required to accelerate their growth.
Next we will have a fireside chat with Jessica DeLuca, the founder and former CEO and Chair of Cult Beauty, the UK’s largest multi-brand beauty retailer and one of the most influential online beauty platforms globally. She pioneered an education-first approach to beauty retail, combining expert curation with one of the industry’s first AI-driven recommendation algorithms. Cult Beauty championed the indie beauty movement, bringing some of the most innovative emerging brands to market. Jessica led the company to a 100% cash exit which delivered a 157x ROI and created 29 millionaires. Jessica is a Distinguished Speaker at USC’s Marshall School of Business and a subject-matter expert for the British Government. She is also the founder of a stealth startup set to launch in mid-2026.
Finally, we’ll be hearing from David Tingley, founder of Paraiso, Naples’ newest private beach club, recently unanimously approved by the Collier County Commissioners. With over two decades of corporate finance experience across the engineering, construction, and services industries, David brings both strategic and operational expertise to this ambitious venture. A graduate of the Bryan University in Arizona, with a Bachelor's degree is in Data Management and Analytics, he now calls Naples home. Tonight, we celebrate his bold vision for Paraiso - an exclusive, members-only beachfront destination featuring a multistory clubhouse with a restaurant, bar, pool, wellness amenities, outdoor dining areas, and direct beach access with member shuttle service.
