Join LatinaTechies for an interactive, hands-on workshop exploring how AI is changing the way we build technology. Using Lovable, an AI-powered platform that lets you build applications through natural language, you’ll experience what it takes to move from an idea to a working digital product.
This is not a session where you’ll simply watch someone else build. You’ll build alongside us.
During the workshop, you’ll learn how to think through a problem before jumping into the build, translate your idea into effective prompts, create your first version, iterate without losing what works, troubleshoot along the way, and turn your concept into a functional prototype.
We’ll move through the complete building journey:
IDEA → PROMPT → BUILD → ITERATE → LAUNCH
No prior coding experience is required. Whether you’re already working in technology, exploring a career in tech, have an entrepreneurial idea, or are simply curious about what you can create with AI, this workshop is designed to give you practical experience building something of your own.

Padma is an AI program leader, community builder, and Director of Strategy & Programs at Future World Alliance, where she leads initiatives that help people move beyond simply learning about AI to building, experimenting, and solving real-world problems with it.
With a background spanning technology, product, strategy, entrepreneurship, and community building, Padma has designed and scaled AI learning programs, hands-on workshops, and hackathons that bring together learners, professionals, technologists, and industry experts from around the world.
Her work is centered on making emerging technology practical and accessible, particularly for people who may not see themselves as traditional software builders. She believes the real opportunity with AI is not simply learning how to use another tool, but gaining the confidence to take an idea, build it, test it, improve it, and put it into the world.
During Make Your Idea Lovable, Padma will guide participants hands-on through that journey using Lovable.
