About Event

Come build something. Leave with something you'll actually use.

"AI is not meant to replace you. It's meant to make you a better version of you, every day."

This is the online edition of our AI Build Night, so anyone can join from anywhere.

This event is built for people with non-technical backgrounds: HR, Ops, Sales, Marketing, Finance. We can all be builders. There are already plenty of people talking about AI, and the only way to actually get good at it is to build something yourself. Whether it's a task you lose real hours to every week or something creative you've been wanting to make, this is a space to build it. No coding experience is required.

Whether you've already built something with Claude Code, Codex, or something similar, or you're just excited to dive in, we'll split into breakout rooms based on your experience with these tools. In fact, at Anthropic's last hackathon, four of five winners were non-technical.

We'll kick off with a quick 10-minute presentation on getting set up the right way: a good starting repo that gives Claude the context it needs, the API keys, the tools you'll want to connect, and the tech stack to use. Get that in place up front, and the rest of the time stays on building. Then we'll split into breakout rooms, with facilitators on hand to jump into your room whenever you need help.

You walk away with something you can use in your everyday job or your everyday life.

The session (2:00–3:30pm Eastern)

  • 2:00 — Join, grab a coffee, get set up

  • 2:10 — Quick presentation: best practices to set yourself up (10 min)

  • 2:20–3:20 — Split into breakout rooms and build

  • 3:20 — Debrief and wrap

What you'll walk away with

  • A working prototype of something real, from your job or your everyday life

  • The setup and architecture behind it, so you can keep building after the session

Before you join: The people who get the most out of these sessions spend 30 minutes to an hour beforehand getting set up, forming a rough idea of what they want to make, and getting access to whatever it touches.
